Twist The Olive is a dream brought to life by owners Mike and Mellissa Gerschutz. More than a decade ago, their vision began to take shape as they explored specialty shops across Ohio and beyond, discovering premium olive oils, balsamic vinegars, and extraordinary flavors sourced from around the world. What started as a shared passion for unique culinary experiences quickly became something more - a dream rooted in creativity, curiosity, and pure joy.

Over the years, their many adventures sparked the idea of bringing that same sense of discovery home to Findlay, Ohio. What began as a curious and crazy “what if” gradually evolved into a well thought out plan, and ultimately, a unwavering heartfelt mission. Today, that dream has evolved into a reality with Twist The Olive.

Although Mike passed far too soon, he was able to see their dream come true. His passion, spirit, and love for life fill the store and continue to inspire Mellissa and their family every day. In many ways, Twist The Olive reflects who he was - warm, caring, adventurous, and full of enthusiasm for sharing great food and experiences with family and friends.
